Taylor Swift, in full Taylor Alison Swift (born December 13th, 1989 West Reading Pennsylvania U.S.) American pop and country music singer and songwriter, whose stories of young heartache achieved widespread success in the early 20th century. Swift had a passion for music at an early stage of her life. Swift quickly rose up the ranks, beginning with roles in children's theater and then performing before a large crowd. Swift began to compose songs at the age of 11. Swift sang The Star-Spangled Banner for a Philadelphia 76ers NBA game. Swift got inspiration from musicians in country music such as Shania Twain, the Dixie Chicks as well as the Chicks to create original material that expressed the apathy she experienced by the age of 13. Swift moved from Pennsylvania together with her parents, in Tennessee to Hendersonville when she turned 13 to devote more time to contacting the country music labels.
